My Creations for the JD Cruz Fashion Show 2016
I feel very proud to say I had the honour of being invited to showcase my Avantgarde Hairscuplture , Headpieces , Makeup Artistry & Bodypainting at the JD Cruz Fashion Show 2016 . A third time successful Fashion Show that showcases the fashions created by various established designers . Some of which included the Laura RalphLeif Erikkson Menswear, Maven Designer Jewellery, Liss Cooke, Ysabel Hudson & Nattakahn
My 3 models were to be the show opener ...
This was no easy task with only 6 hours to prepare 3 models needless to say working at top speed ! Still this wouldn't have got my beautiful models Sammy Williams , Nix Brown & Immy T Model completed in time on my own , so I reeled in the assistance of Nikol Gketsi and Cyd Cheng both assisted me in the application of sequins , crystals and airbrushing ( both of which were first time airbrush uses - so this was fun ! ) I could not have done it with out their selfless support , thanks to them both we had our models completed by 4pm and ready to walk down to The Mill Theatre , Banbury Oxfordshire where the Fashion Show was taking place .
Back home during the day I had organised for hobbyist photographer Neil Simmons to be on hand to take some behind the scenes images as well as a few 'home studio' style shots of each model . Neil had not experience a studio setting of any sort before so this was a first time experiment for him , in which he managed to achieve some lovely shots , a big thanks to Neil for these .
Once at the Theater Becky Moyce of Vine House Studios the official Catwalk photographer also took some lovely images . Thank you Becky.
Nix, Sammy and Immy T opened the show impressively ...I felt extremely proud of them after a long day they really blew me away .. more on this when the professional video of the show is available .
